The Rancon Company & TW Films to Release “Frankie, Maniac Woman” in Theaters

The horror film “Frankie, Maniac Woman” will be released in theaters on April 24, The Rancon Company announced Wednesday.

Directed by Pierre Tsigaridis, “Frankie, Maniac Woman” follows aspiring singer-songwriter Frankie Ramirez (played by Dina Silva) when she finally snaps after “battling against the legacy of childhood trauma, internalized misogyny, and the image-obsessed fat shaming of the LA music business.” The film first premiered at the 2025 Grimmfest.

“With ‘Frankie, Maniac Woman,’ we set out to create a serial killer story that is chaotic and intimate, violent and vulnerable—a slasher with a soul. I wanted to make the kind of slasher that feels dangerous again, where comedy and brutality live in the same breath. At its core, the film is a raw, unapologetic exploration of what happens when someone is pushed past their breaking point, using Frankie’s descent as both a character study and a reflection of the pressures we put on women in image-driven industries” said director Pierre Tsigaridis in a statement.

The film is co-written and produced by Tsigaridis and Dina Silva, who is also an executive producer alongside Maxime Rancon (Two Witches, Traumatika)
